Job summary

Pavilion Recruitment Solutions is helping a growing independent Financial Planning firm hire an experienced Paraplanner. This role offers hybrid working and a basic salary of up to £45,000, with clear progression opportunities.

You will support Financial Planners on a varied caseload, produce suitability reports, conduct pension and investment analysis, and help advisers through the full recommendation process. The firm values thorough research and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent.
• Previous Paraplanning experience within Financial Planning or Wealth Management.
• Strong report writing and technical research skills.
• Good knowledge of pensions and investments.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good understanding of FCA regulations and suitability.
• Comfortable managing multiple cases and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Preparing suitability reports and financial planning recommendations.
• Undertaking technical research across pensions, investments, protection and retirement planning.
• Managing your own caseload and adviser relationships.
• Supporting advisers with complex financial planning requirements.

About the Opportunity

I am working with a growing independent Financial Planning firm that is looking to add an experienced Paraplanner to its team.

The business provides holistic, whole of market Financial Planning across areas including investments, pensions, protection, retirement planning and estate planning.

This is a good opportunity for an established Paraplanner who wants to continue developing their technical knowledge while working within a supportive and growing business.

The Role

You will work closely with Financial Planners across a varied range of client cases, taking responsibility for your own caseload and supporting advisers with technical recommendations.

The role will include suitability report writing, technical research, pension and investment analysis and supporting advisers through the full recommendation process.

There will also be opportunities to gain exposure to more complex cases as your experience develops, with clear scope to progress into more senior Paraplanning responsibilities over time.
