Quilter Cheviot is seeking a Paraplanner to join the Financial Planning team across Birmingham, Leeds, Carlisle, or Exeter. You will produce in-depth reports, liaise with Advisers, and tailor recommendations to client needs within FCA guidelines.

The role requires paraplanning experience, a CII QCF Level 4 Diploma (or near completion), and strong communication and analytical skills. A permanent, on-site position with a structured training path and professional development opportunities.

• Excellent report writing and presentation skills are essential.
• Analytical mindset and attention to detail are important.
• Familiarity with Defaqto Engage, Analytics and X-Plan is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Provide in-depth reports and analysis to Advisers to support client recommendations.
• Liaise with Advisers to determine appropriate financial planning recommendations.
• Determine the most suitable solutions based on Adviser inputs and client needs.
• Present reports clearly and ensure all necessary information is included.
• Complete work within required timescales and to high standards.
• Stay up to date with Quilter Cheviot guidelines and regulatory changes via competency tests.
• Ensure customers are treated fairly and raise concerns when needed.

About The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join either our Birmingham, Exeter, Carlisle or Leeds region as part of the paraplanning team. You will be working within a pod structure where organisation, teamwork and communication is vital.

Key responsibilities

• The provision of in-depth reports and analysis to Advisers to enable them to present recommendations to clients.
• Liaison with Advisers to determine the most appropriate recommendations for clients financial planning.
• From the information provided by the Adviser determine the most appropriate solution and recommendations to meet the clients’ needs.
• Determine the most appropriate way of presenting the report and ensure that it contains all the necessary information.
• Ensuring that all work is completed within the required timescales and to the standards required.
• Ensure that you have a thorough understanding of Quilter Cheviot guidelines and keep up to date with changes via completion of regular competency tests.
• In your role you should constantly ensure that customers are being treated fairly and highlight any situations where you believe this is not the case.
• Providing Paraplanning services to Financial Advisers within FCA Regulations

About You

• Previous experience of paraplanning
• CII QCF Level 4 Diploma qualified or equivalent (or very close to achieving)
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
• Analytically minded.
• Knowledge of Financial Services Industry providers, platforms, analytical tools such as Defaqto Engage and Analytics, X-Plan desirable.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, including being proficient in the use of technology.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Microsoft outlook.
• Ability to organise workloads and prioritise effectively
