Join a well-established multidisciplinary team as an Advanced Paramedic Practitioner in Bexhill. You'll provide holistic care, conduct patient assessments, and collaborate on treatment plans for over 14,000 patients, enhancing community healthcare. The role emphasizes independent practice within a supportive clinical environment alongside GPs and nurses.
This is an opportunity to join an established friendly team of GPs, Nurses, and Healthcare Assistants.
The role will provide a specialist resource as an advanced paramedic practitioner for our patients, working with clinicians, nursing team, and in collaboration with other members of the practice multidisciplinary teams. We have two sites in Bexhill, one in Sidley and the other in Albert Road, Bexhill Town Centre.
As part of the team, you will work within our practice community as an autonomous, accountable paramedic practitioner providing holistic care while assessing, diagnosing, and providing treatment to patients using competent and up-to-date clinical skills.
We promote self-care and educate service users to empower them to make informed treatment choices.
The successful candidate must hold a full driving licence with suitable insurance and access to an appropriate vehicle. Mileage is claimed back at the standard BMA Committee Rate, currently set at 45 pence per mile.

Hours: Full-time, 36 hours per week
Locations: Sidley Medical Practice and Albert Road Surgery
Summary: The role involves providing advanced paramedic services, working independently within the practice community, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic patient care.
Key duties include minor illness assessment, diagnosis, treatment, referrals, care planning, prescribing, wound management, specimen collection, record keeping, and participation in ongoing education and team activities.
Additional responsibilities include administrative duties, ensuring legal compliance, confidentiality, equality, diversity, and adherence to practice policies, including the chaperone policy.
The candidate must have a valid paramedic registration, experience in primary care, and a current DBS check. The role requires a full driving license and access to a vehicle, with mileage claims processed at the BMA rate.
