Hours per week: 24 - 37.5

Job summary: To be responsible for providing paramedical services within a multidisciplinary team, delivering care within their scope of practice to the patient population. The paramedic practitioner will work autonomously in the practice and community, offering assessments, diagnosis, treatment, telephone triage, and referrals, as well as supporting clinical policy review.

Primary responsibilities: The core duties include identifying and referring patients at risk, providing routine care, assessing and diagnosing, triaging during home visits, managing minor illness cases, collecting pathology specimens, maintaining accurate records, ensuring continuity of care, reviewing treatment effectiveness, and acting as lead clinician in emergencies. Additional duties involve supporting mental health assessments, medication support, liaising with external services, adhering to clinical pathways, safeguarding, and health promotion.

Secondary responsibilities: Support practice audits, mentor junior staff, participate in initiatives, review clinical practices, analyze significant events, and pursue personal development goals.
