We have an exciting opportunity for a Paramedic to join our Primary Care team at HMP Fosse Way.

Practice Plus Group is pleased to have been awarded the healthcare contract for HMP Fosse Way, a Category C resettlement prison in Leicester, starting from 1st July 2025.

HMP Fosse Way opened in May 2023. Its state-of-the-art design and facilities provide a secure environment to offer skills and qualifications to the inmates, helping them secure meaningful employment upon release and reduce reoffending rates.

Salary

This is a full-time position with an annual salary up to £47,466, depending on experience.

What You'll Be Doing

• Provide evidence-based, personalized care by actively listening to patients and acting on their feedback, focusing on emergency and unplanned care for primary and acute care needs.
• Deliver non-judgmental care, build therapeutic relationships, and promote professional boundaries.
• Participate in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, following policies and safeguarding procedures.

• Qualified Paramedic
• Current HCPC registration
• Proven ambulance experience post-registration

Experience in hospital, community, or prison settings is advantageous but not essential.
