We are offering a permanent position, working from a fixed location, alongside an MDT with years of experience inducting and working with Paramedics in a primary care setting. You'll have the chance to experience continuity of care and see cases develop from initial triage through to resolution. With the support of the other Paramedics across the group and the experienced clinical team on site, you will be able to share information, learn and grow in your confidence and ability.
Location: Opportunities available at several of our South London locations (https://www.penrosehealth.co.uk/locations)
Hours: Ideally full time (weekdays)
Salary: Competitive depending on experience, additional qualifications (prescribing, advanced practitioner etc.)
Paramedics within Penrose Health are primarily responsible for second-line triage, support, and diagnosis of patients with same-day queries. You will also be involved in other aspects of patient care including home visits, vaccinations, and more.
The right candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills for dealing with our diverse patient population and be able to work well in a close-knit team of both clinicians and non-clinicians. Strong clinical knowledge and good organisational and analytical skills are important to ensure successful outcomes.
If coming from outside primary care, there is likely to be a steep (but rewarding!) learning curve, so we are looking for a candidate who is prepared for this and is keen to get stuck in.
Minimum requirements: Registered Paramedic with valid HCPC registration. Previous experience working in General Practice preferred but not required.
Private medical insurance, sick pay, opportunity for funded professional development, paid professional indemnity, cycle scheme, regular activities and resilience support.
