Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Paramedic to join our Primary Care team at HMP Pentonville, a category B Prison located in London. HMP Pentonville is a male prison with capacity for 1200 inmates and is a remand prison for inmates awaiting trial. It is well situated in London and is 10 minutes from Kings Cross station. Free parking.

Hours
Monday to Sunday: 07.30 - 21.00. Working 3 days per week. Not a fixed shift pattern. Required to work one weekend in four.

Salary
This position is full time, you’ll receive an annual salary up to £53,172 per annum - depending on experience.

Main duties of the job
  • Provide outstanding evidence based care to our patients, listening to and acting on their feedback so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to them - focusing on emergency and unplanned care for patients with primary care and acute care needs.
  • Deliver non-judgemental care, building therapeutic relationships and promoting professional boundaries.
  • Participate in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care following policies and safeguarding considerations.
