We are a GP surgery located in West Midlands, Sandwell. Due to expansion of the clinical team, we are looking for a Paramedic to join our forward-thinking practice.
This is a key clinical role, supporting same-day patient access and delivering high-quality care through advanced assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
As a Paramedic, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred care within a busy GP practice setting. Acting within your professional boundaries, you will manage patients presenting with a range of acute and chronic conditions from initial consultation through diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. You must be able to prescribe.
There is always support available from the duty GP. We aim to deliver timely same-day access, including clinical assessment and triage of patients with urgent needs. The role combines autonomous clinical practice with collaborative teamworking to ensure effective decision-making and continuity of care.

Due to expansion of the clinical team, we are looking for a Paramedic to join our forward-thinking team.
Assess, diagnose, plan and evaluate treatment/interventions and care for patients presenting with an undifferentiated diagnosis
Clinically examine and assess patient needs from a physiological and psychological perspective, and plan clinical care accordingly
Assess, diagnose and evaluate interventions/treatments for patients with complex needs. Proactively identify, diagnose and manage treatment plans for patients at risk of developing a long-term condition (as appropriate)
Prescribe and review medication for therapeutic effectiveness, appropriate to patient needs and in accordance with evidence-based practice and national and practice protocols, and within scope of practice
Prioritise health problems and intervene appropriately in complex, urgent or emergency situations, including initiation of effective emergency care
Support patients to adopt health promotion strategies that promote healthy lifestyles and apply principles of self-care
Communicate effectively with patients and carers, recognising the need for alternative methods of communication to overcome different levels of understanding, cultural background and preferred ways of communicating
Recognise and work within own competence and professional code of conduct. Produce accurate, contemporaneous and complete records of patient consultation, consistent with legislation, policies and procedures
Priorities, organise and manage own workload in a manner that maintains and promotes quality
Deliver care according to NICE guidelines and evidence-based care
