Job summary

Napthens LLP in Blackburn is seeking a Paralegal to join our Wills, Trusts & Probate team. You will work closely with our lawyers, progress matters, and support clients through sensitive circumstances, helping you develop experience in Private Client work.

The role is full-time (35 hours per week, Monday to Friday) and offers an opportunity to build your career within a supportive and collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Previous Paralegal or Legal Assistant experience.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail.
• Clear, professional and supportive communication.
• Confidence managing deadlines and using your initiative.
• A genuine interest in Wills, Trusts and Probate.
• Experience in Private Client work, a legal qualification or knowledge of a case management system would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Drafting Wills, Codicils, LPAs and Trust documents
• Preparing Probate applications, HMRC forms and estate information
• Liaising with clients, executors, beneficiaries and financial institutions
• Supporting with file opening, billing and progressing matters
• Completing legal research and managing key deadlines
