Job Description

We are hiring!

The firm is recruiting for a Paralegal to join the Real Estate - Education team on a permanent basis. Based out of Nottingham, this will work closely with Fee Earners and other Paralegals across the department, ensuring confident and effective communication and collaboration to support clients across the department.

In this role, you’ll assist schools with the property aspects of conversion to academy status. As you develop in the role, you may also be asked to provide a legal support service to the Corporate Education team, assisting schools with the corporate aspects of conversion to academy status).

Some Of The Duties Of The Role Include:

  • Prepare and send routine correspondence to clients, Local Authorities, the Department for Education and other firms of solicitors
  • Assist in the preparation of reports on land registry title and title documentation and land search results
  • Assist in the preparation of reports on leases and other property transactional documents
  • Assist in preparation of draft leases and freehold transfer deeds
  • Prepare all necessary Land Registry documents and forms
  • Register property documents at the Land Registry
