Job summary

Connect Legal Partners is seeking a part-time legal support to assist a busy real estate team on development transactions in London/Greater London.

You will review title, land registration and SDLT returns, draft reports on title and certificates, keep files in order, and track deadlines while proofreading documents and updating clients.

Qualifications

• A 2:1 degree or higher.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail.
• Good Word, Excel and Outlook skills.
• Client-focused and able to work on own initiative.
• Housing associations experience helps but is not essential.

The firm

A national law firm with a strong real estate client base, including the public and not for profit sectors. Teams are large, busy and collaborative.

The role

You will support a real estate team on development transactions for developers and purchasers. The work includes reviewing and reporting on title, land registration and SDLT returns, drafting reports on title and certificates, keeping files in order, tracking deadlines, proofing documents and updating clients.

What you will need

A 2:1 degree or higher, strong organisation, careful attention to detail and good Word, Excel and Outlook skills. You should be client focused, able to work on your own initiative and commercially aware. Experience with housing associations helps but is not essential.
