Field Seymour Parkes is seeking a motivated Paralegal to join its Real Estate team, offering hands-on experience with high-quality commercial property work.

You will work under qualified lawyers, providing legal and administrative support, assisting with filing, due diligence, research and transaction progression in a supportive, collaborative environment. The firm also offers ongoing training, a modern Reading office, and clear career progression.

Qualifications

• Degree (2:1 preferred)

Responsibilities

• Open new files and undertake client due diligence and KYC procedures

• Manage electronic documents, databases and records
• Assist with document reviews, proofreading and production
• Support transaction management and completion processes
• Liaise with clients, agents and other third parties
• Assist with billing, time recording and other administrative processes
• Support business development activities and client events where required

Field Seymour Parkes is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join its highly regarded Real Estate team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a law graduate or aspiring legal professional to gain hands‑on experience within a leading commercial law firm, working alongside experienced lawyers on a broad range of high-quality real estate matters. You will play an important role in supporting the team while developing your legal knowledge and practical skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.

The Role

Working under the supervision of qualified lawyers, you will assist with a variety of commercial property and real estate matters, providing both legal and administrative support to ensure transactions progress efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Opening new files and undertaking client due diligence and Know Your Client (KYC) procedures
• Preparing correspondence, reports, legal documents and attendance notes
• Conducting legal research and property‑related searches
• Managing and maintaining electronic documents, databases and records
• Assisting with document reviews, proof‑reading and document production
• Supporting transaction management and completion processes
• Liaising with clients, agents and other third parties
• Assisting with billing, time recording and other administrative processes
• Supporting business development activities and client events where required
