This role is to work as part of the Portfolio Management team, a well-established national team of junior fee-earners supporting our national Real Estate group.

Our Real Estate group covers various aspects of commercial real estate including development, investment, asset management, funding, construction, landlord and tenant relations, planning, environmental issues, and dispute resolution. Our clients include property management and development companies, health trusts, government bodies (local and central), owner-occupiers, and institutions both in the UK and overseas.

The team has a strong record of paralegal progression. We value our Portfolio Management team as an incubator for future talent, with recent success stories of former paralegals qualifying as solicitors with support from professional development funding and mentoring.

Key Responsibilities

The Paralegal role is varied, working across the national Real Estate group but mainly serving telecoms operator clients. You will manage your own files and interact with clients.

Your work will include preparing title and lease reports, drafting and negotiating leases, agreements, and deeds, as well as assisting fee earners with various client matters and providing general support.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
  • Excellent academics, including a 2.1 degree or higher.
  • A genuine interest in law and property.
  • Experience in Commercial Property is not essential but advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to produce high-standard work.
  • Confidence and ability to build strong relationships with clients (internal and external) and third parties at all levels.
  • Flexible, organized, self-motivated team player capable of working towards common goals.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
