A leading law firm in Manchester seeks a motivated Paralegal to join their Public Law & Human Rights team. Our Public Law & Human Rights team undertakes a range of work in judicial review, civil liberties (including inquests and actions against the police), education, social care, healthcare, medical treatment, mental capacity, and Court of Protection welfare disputes. Our lawyers are experts in their field.
The Manchester team primarily works on Court of Protection, mental capacity, judicial review, social care, healthcare, and medical treatment, with opportunities to work on civil liberties and education matters.
Our department is ranked as a leader in various fields in both the Chambers & Partners and the Legal 500 directories, with many solicitors ranked individually.
We handle high-profile, cutting-edge cases and have a national reputation for our work on test cases, with public law teams in ten offices across the country.
We hold Legal Aid Agency contracts in public law, community care, and actions against the police, and are instructed by privately funded individuals, professional associations, and institutions including charities and voluntary organizations. We collaborate closely with colleagues in Irwin Mitchell to provide holistic services to our clients.
