Paralegal – Property Team (Belfast)

Abacus is keen to hire a Paralegal to join the Property team of one of the leading law firms in Belfast. The firm is eager to appoint a Paralegal to join their busy and dynamic Property team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both commercial and residential property transactions within a supportive and professional environment.

About the Client:

This practice has an excellent reputation with some excellent clients and continues to grow. Their property team of qualified solicitors continues to expand due to increasing work pressures and client satisfaction across commercial and residential property demands. They are seeking to add additional resources by appointing a Paralegal for the Property team.

About the Role:

As a Paralegal in the Property team, you will support solicitors in managing a varied caseload of commercial and residential property matters. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Assisting with the preparation and completion of contracts, leases, and legal documentation.
2. Conducting title checks, searches, and due diligence.
3. Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors.
4. Preparing completion statements and handling post-completion tasks.
5. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case files.

You will work with a variety of high-quality clients with diverse property demands. The firm represents many sectors and industries; therefore, adaptability and the ability to work efficiently and effectively are essential.

Who We Are Looking For:

• A law degree and a minimum of 12 months experience as a Paralegal (Legal Professional, Legal Executive).
• Experience working in a property team is a strong advantage.
• A professional with high levels of integrity, resilience, diplomacy, and eagerness to learn and think quickly.
• Excellent interpersonal and management skills.
