Are you an experienced Private Client Paralegal looking for your next step in a highly respected legal team? We’re working with a leading UK law firm to find a talented and driven individual to join their Personal & Family practice based in Edinburgh.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of Scotland’s largest and most experienced teams of private client specialists. You'll handle a varied caseload from day one, with direct client contact across a diverse range of individuals, families, executors, and trustees – both within the UK and internationally.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Managing the administration of trusts and executries, including high-value taxable estates
  • Preparing Wills and Powers of Attorney
  • Supporting guardianship matters and asset protection strategies
  • Liaising directly with clients and providing a first-class service
  • Collaborating with partners, solicitors, tax specialists, and fellow paralegals
  • Ensuring strong financial management of your own caseload
  • Contributing to the continued development and excellence of the team

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a private client team is essential
  • Strong background in executries, trusts, and will drafting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing deadlines
  • A confident, approachable manner with a genuine interest in personal legal matters
  • A proactive mindset with attention to detail and a commitment to continuous learning
  • Case management and IT system knowledge a plus (training available)

This firm is well known for its supportive culture, commitment to excellence, and opportunities for personal development. You'll be working alongside some of the most respected professionals in the field, with access to high-quality work, a collaborative environment, and career progression.
