An established and respected law firm in Maidstone is looking to recruit a motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support experienced solicitors on a varied caseload, working across both private family law and civil litigation.

The Role:
As a Paralegal, you will play an important supporting role in managing client matters, preparing documentation, and ensuring that day-to-day case progression runs smoothly. This position is ideal for someone with previous paralegal experience who is keen to deepen their knowledge across both family and litigation practice areas.
Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting fee earners with a busy caseload of private family matters (divorce, financial remedies, child arrangements) and civil litigation (contract disputes, property claims, debt recovery, etc.)
• Drafting legal documents, court forms, and correspondence
• Managing and reviewing case files, keeping accurate records and notes
• Liaising with clients, counsel, courts, and other third parties
• Preparing bundles for court hearings and attending hearings when required
• Conducting legal research and assisting with client queries

About You:

• Prior experience as a Paralegal, ideally within family or civil litigation law
• Strong administrative, drafting, and organisational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Confident managing sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
• A team player with a proactive, can-do attitude
