Are you looking to build a career in a fast-growing, specialist area of law? As a Paralegal within Anthony Collins, you will be referred to as a Legal Assistant. We’re looking for a Legal Assistant to join our Information Governance & Data Protection (IGDP) team at Anthony Collins.

About the Role

Working closely with fee earners across the firm, you’ll support clients in health & social care (HSC), housing providers, charities, and social businesses on key legal matters relating to data protection, confidentiality, and information governance. This is an exciting opportunity to develop hands-on legal experience while playing a crucial role, making sure compliance with data protection laws and best practices.

About the candidate

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Proactive and organised – Able to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and take ownership of responsibilities.
  • Detail-oriented – Strong drafting, research, and analytical skills, with a commitment to confidentiality and discretion.
  • A great communicator – Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Tech-savvy – Comfortable using Microsoft Office and eager to develop IT skills in other relevant systems.
  • A team player – Someone who enjoys working collaboratively in a professional and supportive environment.

Previous experience in data protection, information governance, or legal administration would be beneficial, but we’re also open to candidates with strong legal skills looking to specialise in this area.
