This role is to work on a contract basis for a large Investment Bank working within their Structured Securities team. The team handles high volumes of Securities Issuance Documentation for stocks and bonds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting securities issuance documentation across asset classes
• Maintaining meticulous records and following defined processes
• Learning about structured securities products, applicable legal rules, and processes, with a view to expanding responsibilities over time
• Procuring and analyzing cross-border legal advice from external law firms to provide appropriate legal guidance to business teams
• Collaborating with team members to manage workload effectively
• Possessing a law degree and/or an equivalent conversion course
• Having a desire to pursue a career in the legal profession, with an interest in financial markets
• Demonstrating an outgoing and robust personality capable of working independently and within a team
• Communicating clearly and effectively, both in writing and orally
• Exhibiting strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
• Showing high levels of organization, planning skills, numeracy, attention to detail, logical thinking, and teamwork
