About the Legal Team and the Role

This role will be to support the continued growth of the business, reporting into the General Counsel (but working closely with the other lawyers in the team). The Ingenuity Legal Team currently comprises 4 qualified lawyers working across a variety of practice areas.

As an SRA credited organisation, Ingenuity is able to train lawyers in-house (something which we have done on a number of prior occasions where the paralegal has demonstrated a suitable skillset, exemplary attitude and is a good fit for the organisation).

Responsibilities:

• Negotiating and drafting influencer/ambassador agreements
• Negotiating and drafting NDAs
• Negotiating and drafting certain supply and sale contracts
• Offering help and legal support to the qualified lawyers in the team
• Assisting with certain administration tasks (including managing POs for the team’s external legal spend)

Requirements:

• Law degree
• Ideally, 1 + years of paralegal experience
• Excellent communication skills, with ability to influence and build rapport with stakeholders at all levels
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Highly motivated and reliable individual
• Ability to make sound judgements
• Resilient and able to work independently towards Ingenuity objectives
