Job description

Paralegal (Housing Disrepair) needed in Stoke on Trent, £33ph

PAYE - Reference: 5268979

The role involves:

  1. Maintaining a caseload of Housing Disrepair matters and managing cases according to the appointed process.
  2. Assisting in drafting documentation to a high standard and supporting team members with their caseloads, ensuring all work is completed within deadlines.
  3. Handling deeds, plans, contracts, and agreements by photocopying, scanning, printing, binding, faxing, or other means.
  4. Liaising with professionals, including customers, tenants, Repairs and Maintenance services, and the public.
  5. Using computer programs and equipment to produce legal documents and correspondence to a high standard.
  6. Preparing cases for court, including obtaining statements from clients, witnesses, and partner agencies.
  7. Conducting research on legal points or practice.
  8. Assisting the Operational Lead with team administration.
  9. Providing advice and support to customers with a focus on high-quality, customer-oriented service and continuous improvement.
  10. Maintaining professional standards and quality standards.

This is a full-time role on a temporary contract basis.
