Job description

An international investment firm with a diverse portfolio spanning venture capital, credit, and public markets is seeking a proactive and adaptable paralegal to join its London-based legal and compliance team. This role offers the chance to work closely with senior legal professionals, including the General Counsel and AML Officer, contributing to a broad spectrum of legal and compliance matters across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and update the entity tracker system, ensuring accurate records of global entities.
• Assist with AML/KYC processes, liaising with internal teams and external partners.
• Facilitate the formation and dissolution of entities worldwide, drafting necessary documentation such as operating agreements and meeting minutes.
• Coordinate with external counsel on matters including employment, immigration, and general corporate issues.
• Support project work related to global employment and privacy policies, ensuring compliance across various jurisdictions.
• Aid deal teams in credit and venture capital transactions, providing legal support as needed.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
• Demonstrated experience in a fund environment, particularly with AML/KYC procedures.
• Familiarity with legal processes across multiple jurisdictions.
• Exposure to venture capital or credit-related legal work is advantageous.
• Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute across various legal and compliance functions.
