Job Title: Paralegal - Employer’s Liability/Public Liability Team

Salary: Up to £25,000 per annum (DOE), plus on target bonus

We are recruiting a bright and ambitious Paralegal to join our Employer’s Liability/Public Liability (EL/PL) Team based in our Manchester office.

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement with 1-2 days working from the office, so candidates should be within the Manchester area for client visits and meetings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist fee-earners in progressing cases efficiently.
  • Set up new files on the case management system.
  • Draft Letters of Claim, Claim Forms, and Court Forms.
  • Answer client calls, respond to queries, and provide updates.
  • Help prepare instructions to Counsel.
  • Prepare Trial Bundles.
  • Liaise with medical experts, barristers, and counsel.
  • Attend Court and Council meetings when applicable.
  • Review expert reports.
  • Arrange meetings and appointments for fee earners.
  • Maintain organization and upkeep of files.

This role is ideal for experienced paralegals, particularly within personal injury, seeking to build on their legal experience within a busy and successful team.
