Job description

This role presents a fantastic opportunity for you to work alongside Solicitors to provide legal advice and guidance to commercial clients in an effective and cost-effective manner.

Department: Commercial Property, Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time, Location: Cardiff, Workplace type: Onsite, Reporting To: Susanne Bradley

Duties
  • Offer assistance to all fee earners across the department.
  • To deal courteously and promptly with colleagues in relation to any instructions or queries arising.
  • Demonstrate a level of knowledge and skill corresponding with experience.
  • Comply with the Firm’s internal processes on time recording, billing, credit control and compliance.
  • Occasional travel between offices and to external meetings when necessary.
  • Any other reasonable duties commensurate with the grade and post.
What you will need
  • A law degree or other relevant qualification, which may include experience of working in a legal role.
  • Ability to communicate confidently with both clients and all department levels across the Firm.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Ability to prioritise, meet strict deadlines and work under pressure.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
  • Must be able to work as part of a team as well as to use own initiative.
  • Project a professional image at all times.
In Return

In return you will have the opportunity to develop your career within our high ranked Commercial Property team based in our Cardiff office and will be paid a competitive salary (dependent on experience) as well as qualifying for other benefits such as a day off for your birthday and 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.

  • 35 hour working week - Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (increasing to a maximum of 30 days for additional years of service)
  • A day off on your birthday each year (or closest working day)
