Job summary

Connect Legal Partners is seeking a proactive litigation assistant to support a well regarded commercial litigation team on a varied mix of complex, high-value disputes. You will run your own caseload under supervision, draft pleadings and witness statements, help with disclosure and trial preparation, and deal with clients, counsel, the courts and other parties.

You will attend meetings, mediations and hearings where needed, and keep files accurate and up to date.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules.
• Some contentious experience, such as contract disputes, debt recovery or property disputes.
• Good organisation and commercial awareness.
• A keen interest in learning and developing within litigation.

Responsibilities
