Based in Manchester, this legal services firm has an in-house team of barristers providing in-house counsel in relation to litigation claims. The litigation department is looking for a talented and ambitious BPTC graduate or equivalent who wants to develop their experience ahead of mencing pupillage and/or whilst making pupillage applications.

Your new role

You will support experienced barristers and advocates with a range of duties including drafting, reviewing, and preparing cases and managing queries. There may also be an opportunity to attend hearings and develop your advocacy experience.

What you'll need to succeed

You must have a strong appreciation for civil procedure rules with a good legal understanding of litigation and claims matters, either from previous paralegal / legal assistant experience or from your law degree / BPTC studies. You will have an excellent academic record from A Level and further studies plus strong and effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
