Morton Fraser MacRoberts LLP is seeking a Paralegal in Private Client to assist in delivering high-quality services. The role requires working with the division to ensure best client service and timely, accurate documentation.

The successful candidate will hold a Paralegal qualification in Wills, Trusts and Executries and have at least two years’ experience in Private Client work, with strong communication and client-relations skills. Collaboration with Partners and other fee earners is expected.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and prepare documentation and deeds relevant to paralegal services.
  • Take ownership and manage Will case plans to bring work to a conclusion.
  • Prepare correspondence and liaise with clients by letter and telephone.
  • Liaise with paralegals and solicitors in other firms.
  • Actively deal with finance reports to ensure matters are fee’d, chased and closed on time.
  • Manage files ensuring all steps are complete within the timescales and service level agreements set.
  • Assist Partners and other fee earners of the division in any other reasonable duties.

Summary of Role

To assist in the provision of legal services to clients and to work with other members of the division to ensure best service to clients.

Qualifications and Experience
  • You will have a Paralegal Qualification in Wills, Trusts and Executries.
  • You will have at least 2 years of experience as a Paralegal within a Private Client team.
