What we are recruiting for:

The paralegal and company secretariat assistant position is a wide ranging role supporting the inhouse legal and compliance team at Bovis.

Roles & responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop reporting and record keeping of legal and compliance/company secretariat matters.
  • DocuSign champion for the legal team including DocuSign administrator and training of project teams.
  • Update and develop the legal and compliance pages on the Bovis intranet.
  • Assist project team with appointments and ancillary documents.
  • Assist the governance and compliance manager with board meetings including preparing board papers, resolutions.

Experience & background:

  • Qualifications to a degree level or equivalent in law and/or company secretariat (such as NALP, Chartered Institute of Governance or working towards)
  • Experienced in paralegal and company secretariat work ideally including supporting in-house legal and compliance teams
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
  • Prioritise workload and great time management skills.
  • Problem solve and find solutions.
  • Administration and IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
