Job overview

Our Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence Department is one of the foremost in the region, recognized for its quality and personal service. We have recently received nominations for national awards, including two solicitors nominated for National Awards and our department being nominated as Claimant Team of the Year at the National Personal Injury Awards. We are currently seeking a Paralegal (graduate level individuals are encouraged to apply) to join our team, working on Clinical Negligence cases with support and assisting with higher-value, complex claims. The role involves a wide range of interesting work, from taking instructions to trial or settlement of litigated cases.

The successful candidate will handle a demanding caseload, contribute to department growth, participate in marketing and business development, and be a team player. The role is primarily based in Lincoln with flexible working options after probation.

Key activities include:
  • Managing client work assigned by senior staff
  • Progressing cases efficiently and keeping clients informed
  • Providing high standards of client care
  • Achieving performance targets
  • Maintaining confidentiality and security of documentation
  • Communicating effectively within the firm and externally
Experience required:
  • Law Degree or equivalent; LPC or Legal Executive qualification desirable
  • IT and case management skills, including Word, Outlook, Excel
  • Experience with case management systems advantageous
  • Professional appearance and confident communication skills
  • Hardworking with ability to meet deadlines
