About the role

Both teams act for a variety of high-profile insurer companies and defend a wide range of litigated claims arising from Road Traffic Accidents (RTA). The teams mainly deal with liability disputed matters, but occasionally liability will be admitted, and the ongoing dispute will be with regards to quantum.

Motor Fast Track can be categorised as the civil track for personal injury claims over £1,000 and under £25,000 or property damage claims over £10,000. The claims received are usually for both special and general damages, for both commercial and domestic insurers.

The Motor Small Claims team handles both Ministry of Justice (MOJ) stage 3 cases and small claims arising from RTAs where loss has been incurred.

About you

This role offers an opportunity to take responsibility and progress a Motor Insurance litigated caseload to a satisfactory conclusion for clients, while ensuring high levels of service delivery and maintaining management information per the client's service level agreements.

You will gain exposure to a variety of matters, from minor injury accidents to more complex cases and procedural issues. You'll work with established clients and build rapport with their customers. There are opportunities to progress within and outside of the team.

We are actively seeking candidates with a genuine interest in Motor Insurance work and demonstrable experience managing a caseload of litigated Motor insurance cases to close.
