The department

The Real Estate Investment Team at Birketts is expanding its core Norwich team! Together, as a collaborative firm, we have close to 1000 people working with us and we are ranked highly in the Legal 500 across all areas we practice in. Our Real Estate Investment team is dedicated to acting for some of the most prestigious and sophisticated real estate investors globally.

Accountabilities

Following a period of growth, we are seeking a Paralegal to join our Norwich office on a full time permanent basis.

  • To provide support to the fee earners in the team and assist in the work of the department
  • Running files
  • Supporting the Team Head and team and Partners
  • Interacting directly with clients and managing their expectations
  • Business Development
  • Provide an efficient and friendly service to clients.


Qualifications/Experience

We are see seeking a candidate who ideally has a Law degree and looking to start a career with a prestigious law firm, or you may have gained experience within a regional or City firm and looking for that next step.

You will need to have strong attention to detail skills to produce work/ documentation which is consistently of a high standard. You will have a flexible approach to work to ensure client deadlines are always met and clients are communicated with on a consistent and regular basis and an interest in and aptitude for business development.
