The Role

We are seeking a proactive, commercially-focused Paralegal to join our high-calibre legal team in London. Project work varies from customer and shareholder agreements to corporate policies and IP protection. With a global customer base, our legal team also navigates complex international regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.

Responsibilities:

  1. Preparing and proofreading commercial contracts, including for new and existing customers and key suppliers
  2. Reviewing and negotiating non-disclosure agreements (NDAs)
  3. Participating in the preparation and development of internal policies and procedures
  4. Conducting legal research on a wide variety of topics
  5. Supporting the wider legal team on a range of corporate, employment, data protection and commercial matters
  6. Keeping abreast of developments in the law relevant to the company

Main Skills/Competencies:

  1. 2+ years of experience in-house or private practice with a focus on commercial law
  2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  3. Skilled in drafting and reviewing commercial contracts
  4. Experience supporting the development of company policies
  5. Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical ability
  6. Curious mindset with thorough research skills
  7. Experience in SaaS or the technology sector is desirable
  8. Degree in Law (or another subject with a postgraduate in Law)
  9. Legal Practice Course (LPC) or alternative
