A leading company invites applications for a Secretariat Assistant role, responsible for supporting the Company Secretary and legal team. This position includes tasks like scheduling meetings, preparing minutes, and maintaining records in a regulated environment. Candidates should have previous experience and ideally be pursuing a Chartered Governance qualification.
Role Description
A secretariat assistant to assist the Company Secretary and wider legal team.
Specific Role Responsibilities
Providing meetings scheduling support to the various UK Boards and Board Committees as necessary
Providing minutes for the UK Executive (ExCo) and Management Risk Committee (MRCC) and any other management meetings as agreed by the Company Secretary
Maintenance of statutory records and statutory filings via Diligent Entities
Assistance with arranging Board events (including travel & accommodation) as necessary
Assisting the legal team with Gatekeeper (procurement) requests
Maintain the Legal contracts database
To provide general administrative assistance to the legal team as requested
Experience Required
Primary requirements
Previous experience as a Secretariat Assistant preferably within a regulated environment
Ideally studying for Chartered Governance Institute qualification
