Job summary

Moneycorp Bank Limited is seeking a proactive lawyer to join its in-house team in London. You will provide legal support across commercial agreements, governance and board matters while working with senior lawyers on complex transactions.

The role is full-time, office-based in London with up to two days from home under our flexible policy. The ideal candidate has experience in a law firm or corporate legal team, a law degree, and strong attention to detail, communication and multi-tasking

• Understanding of the financial services industry is useful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Review, negotiate and administer commercial agreements including services, supplier, technology, and NDA agreements.
• Maintain statutory records and corporate governance documentation.
• Assist with board and shareholder resolutions.
• Support the legal team on board papers distribution and preparation.
• Assist with workload and provide support to senior lawyers, including research and admin tasks.
• Monitor trade-marks reports for potential infringements.
• Assist with Companies House filings.
• Assist with invoices, filing and general administrative tasks.
• Manage the group legal team's inbox and notify senior lawyers of tasks.

Role Purpos e:

You will provide legal support to the business as part of the in-house legal team.

Role Responsibilities:

• Assist with the review, negotiation and administration of commercial agreements including services agreements, supplier agreements, technology agreements and non-disclosure agreements.
• Maintain statutory records and corporate governance documentation.
• Assist with board and shareholder resolutions.
• Support the Legal Team on the compilation and distribution of board papers.
• Provide assistance with the legal team’s workload and provide support to senior lawyers, including conducting research and carrying out administrative tasks.
• Monitoring trade-marks reports for potential infringements.
• Assisting with Companies House filings.
• Assisting with invoices, filing and general administrative tasks.
• Manage the Group Legal team’s inbox and ensure all tasks are notified to senior lawyers.
