Salary: £32,000-40,000 per annum
As a Paralegal at the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), you'll be a valued member of a small, collaborative Legal team that plays a vital role in supporting the organisation’s mission to build public trust in the insurance and financial planning profession. Your work will span a wide range of legal areas, including contract management, intellectual property, data protection, and dispute resolution.
You’ll contribute to the smooth running of the Legal function by preparing and reviewing legal documents, conducting research, and supporting governance and compliance activities. You’ll also engage with colleagues across the organisation and external stakeholders to provide clear, practical legal support.
This is a varied and meaningful role that offers both responsibility and development. Your work will span policy development, stakeholder engagement, and project delivery — from managing ethics content and benchmarking exercises to overseeing strategic reviews and reporting to senior governance bodies. You’ll also support the evolution of ethical training and contribute to shaping the future of professionalism across the sector.
