Job summary

A leading law firm in London is seeking a Business Crime Paralegal for a 12-month contract. In this role, you'll manage case documents, support case organization, and conduct legal research. The ideal candidate will have a law degree and at least 12 months of paralegal experience in contentious or criminal law. Qualifications

• Strong writing and verbal communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage large volumes of documents, maintaining case spreadsheets.
• Review, analyze, and summarize case materials accurately.
• Conduct legal research and liaise with Counsel when necessary.

Skills

Strong academics: Law degree or GDL plus LPC or BPTC

Minimum 12 months’ contentious or criminal paralegal experience

Confidence with eDisclosure tools such as Relativity

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong IT ability, especially in Excel

Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail

Business Crime Paralegal – 12‑Month Contract | London

A law firm renowned for its high‑profile disputes and complex investigations is seeking a skilled Paralegal to join its leading Business Crime team. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of major international matters where reputation, livelihood, and liberty are often at stake.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing large volumes of documents (historic and newly received)
• Maintaining case spreadsheets and supporting case organisation
• Reviewing, analysing and summarising case materials
• Preparing bundles and drafting memos and correspondence
• Attending client meetings, court hearings and taking accurate notes
• Conducting legal research and liaising with Counsel
• General administrative support as required

What They’re Looking For

• Strong academics: Law degree or GDL plus LPC or BPTC
• Minimum 12 months’ contentious or criminal paralegal experience (litigation preferred)
• Confidence with eDisclosure tools such as Relativity
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong IT ability, especially in Excel and legal research databases (Lexis Nexis, Westlaw, Practical Law)
• Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A proactive, positive approach and genuine interest in criminal/business crime law
