Horwich Farrelly is seeking a Paralegal for its Recoveries Team in Scotland, based in Edinburgh or Glasgow with hybrid working. You will handle fixed fee, pre-litigated and litigated DA claims, supporting qualified staff and Litigation Executives to progress cases within the Scottish jurisdiction and meet service levels.

We are currently looking for a Paralegal to join our Recoveries Team in Scotland either Edinburgh or Glasgow.
As a Paralegal you will deal independently (under supervision) with a case load of fixed fee, pre-litigated and litigated delegated authority (“DA”) claims. To ensure that clients are confident that their claims and potential legal affairs are dealt with in a professional and competent manner, and to ensure the efficient operation of the team.
You will assist qualified staff and other Litigation Executive/Claims Handlers as and when required to manage and progress litigated debt recovery cases within the Scottish jurisdiction. You will comply with MI reporting and Client Service Level Agreements, and retain up to date claims knowledge at all times through internal and external courses/seminars.
