A legal firm in East Grinstead is seeking a Paralegal to assist in the Private Client department on a full-time basis.   • Handling initial Will enquiries and sending Will Packs.
  • Dealing with release of original Wills.
  • Diarising and monitoring deadlines.
  • Transcription of correspondence and documents.

Job description

Mason & Beer LLP is seeking a Paralegal to assist in the Private Client department on a permanent and full-time basis.Due to being a High Street firm it may be assistance will be required in other departments.

The role will include (but is not limited to) the following tasks:

·Initial drafts of Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney.

·Drafting correspondence and documents.

·Drafting applications for Grants of Representation.

·Liaising with organisations to progress matters and raise queries.

·Obtaining Land Registry documents.

·Telephone calls with clients and handling client queries.

·Handling initial Will enquiries and sending Will Packs.

·Dealing with release of original Wills.

·Diarising and monitoring deadlines.

·Transcription of correspondence and documents.

Experience, Knowledge and skills required:

·Previous experience in a law firm or academic knowledge would be advantageous but not essential.

·Exceptional organisational and communication skills.

·Ability to work well under pressure and be proactive.
