This company is seeking a skilled and dedicated Panels Layup Technician (Laminator) to join their dynamic team. As a Panels Layup Technician, you will play a crucial role in producing consistently high-quality products in line with the company's production plan.

The Panels Layup Technician will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
- Laminating and tooling with a strong attention to detail
- Vacuum bagging parts to a high standard
- Working with aluminum skin and honeycomb core
- Utilizing film adhesive bonding and oven curing techniques
- Operating guillotines, hand tools, and industrial machinery
- Interpreting technical drawings and laminate manuals
- Maintaining 5S disciplines and participating in continuous improvement activities

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a manual handling role with demonstrated manual dexterity
- Background in a production or manufacturing environment, with regular use of hand tools
- Ability to follow procedures and work instructions/manuals
- Comfort working to tight timelines with demanding quality requirements
- Proven ability to work independently and take initiative
- High attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Relevant experience in carbon fibre or laminating aluminum is preferred
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings is a plus

This position offers both PAYE and Umbrella hourly rates. You will receive a 20% uplift on the hourly rate due to the hours being double days on a fortnightly rotation, all hours are Monday - Friday;

  • Week 1 - 06:00am - 14:00pm
  • Week 2 - 14:00pm - 22:00pm (Fridays on this shift will be 12:00pm - 20:00pm)
