Job summary

Global Recruitment Services Ltd are recruiting experienced Panel Wirers for a temp to perm position near Burton-on-Trent. You will work on repair and refurbishment of used equipment, wiring control panels and sub-assemblies.

Candidates should be able to read schematics; qualification is preferred but not essential. Experience in machine building or assembly is advantageous. This is a site-based role with potential for permanent hire.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams.
• Experience with electrical wiring and panel assembly.
• Previous machine building or assembly experience advantageous.
• Recognised relevant qualification preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Repair and refurbishment of used equipment.
• Wiring/control panel assembly from sub-assemblies/frames to smaller components.
• All aspects of electrical wiring/assembly as described.

Job description

We are currently looking for experienced Panel Wirers to work for of our clients on an temp to perm basis

The company is a well-respected world leader in the manufacturer of specialist electrical equipment for a variety of applications worldwide.

Based in their workshop near Burton on Trent the work will involve working on the repair and refurbishment of used equipment and the main duties will include all aspects of electrical wiring/assembly ranging from control panels, sub-assemblies/frames through to smaller component installation.

The successful applicants have a proven track record in a similar role ideally with a recognised relevant qualification although this is not essential. The ability to read and understand schematic diagrams is essential. Previous experience of machine building or assembly would be advantageous.

This is a temp to perm role subject to satisfactory performance.
