Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Panel Wirer for an industrial machinery role in Cambridge. This days-based position offers a 40-hour week with optional overtime, training, and clear progression as you wire panels, cabinets and PLCs.

You will join a well-established UK manufacturer, working under senior mentors in a fast-paced production setting with Monday–Friday hours and opportunities to boost earnings through overtime and training.

Qualifications

• Experience wiring control panels and fitting electrical systems on bespoke machinery.
• Experience with PLCs and control components in a production environment.
• Willingness to learn from senior team members and operate in a day-shift, Monday–Friday pattern.

Panel Wirer (Industrial Machinery)

Are you an Electrical Fitter, Assembly Technician or similar with a experiemve in a role working with Industrial Machinery in a stable, days-based position with regular optional overtime to boost your earnings and technical progression with senior mentors to enhance your skills?Do you want to work for a growing company who due to steady growth are expanding their footing in the UK and European markets.

In this role you will be conducting detailed assembly and wiring custom control panels on a range of bespoke machinery. You will be installing PLC's, and control components in a fast-paced production environment. You will be working in a collaborative environment and learn from senior team members through a buddy system. This is a Monda-Friday role with flexible working hours under the 40 hour week and opportunity to boost your pay with optional overtime.
