Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Panel Wirer to join a leading aerospace/defence-focused team in Poynton, Stockport. The role entails wiring cabinets, racks and boxes on large-scale projects and assembling harnesses while preparing for Security Clearance processes.

You will read technical drawings, work to tight tolerances and benefit from training, progression and overtime opportunities in a respected employer with a clear career path in a high-technology sector.

Qualifications

• Experience as Panel Wirer or similar with wiring of large scale projects.
• Ability to read and interpret technical/schematic drawings.
• Willing to obtain Security Clearance for aerospace/defence work.

Responsibilities

• Cabinet Wiring, Rack Wiring and Box Wiring on large projects.
• Create, route and secure multiple wire/cable harnesses and looms.
• Terminate a variety of connector types.
