Sandicliffe Ltd. in Loughborough is seeking a Panel Technician to join our busy bodyshop team. You will perform high-quality accident repairs, panel repair, and supporting mechanical tasks within a collaborative environment.

You should bring experience in automotive panel repair, detailed workmanship, and a full UK driving licence. ATA or equivalent qualification is preferred; franchised dealer experience is a plus. We offer training and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience as Panel Technician or similar automotive repair role.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle body repair techniques.
• Experience removing and refitting mechanical/electrical components.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out panel repairs, replacement, and alignment to manufacturer standards.
• Remove and refit vehicle body panels and components.
• Complete repairs using welding, filling, and panel beating techniques.
• Conduct light mechanical work including suspension, steering, braking, and ancillary components.
• Support vehicle diagnostics related to repair and refit activities.
• Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and manufacturer requirements.
• Collaborate with estimators, painters, and workshop colleagues to meet deadlines.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Follow company processes and health and safety procedures.
