Job summary

Intelect UK LTD in Middlesbrough area is seeking an experienced Panel Department Manager to lead the panel manufacturing team responsible for electrical control panels, MCCs and switchboards.

You will manage a small team, plan workloads, ensure on-time delivery, uphold quality and safety standards, and provide technical support to customers while preparing quotations and pricing for new and existing work.

Qualifications

• Previous hands-on experience in manufacturing electrical control panels, MCCs or switchboards.
• Experience in a supervisory, team leader or management position.
• Customer-facing experience with ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
• Experience preparing quotations and pricing works.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Managing and developing a team of 2-3 panel builders/electricians.
• Planning and coordinating workloads to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Maintaining high standards of quality, safety and workmanship.
• Liaising with customers to understand requirements and provide technical support.
• Preparing quotations and cost estimates for new and existing works.
• Supporting sales activities and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Monitoring department performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Working closely with other departments to ensure successful project delivery.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Panel Department Manager to lead our panel manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in the design and manufacture of electrical control panels, MCCs and switchboards who has progressed into a supervisory or management role and is looking to take the next step in their career.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing and developing a team of 2-3 panel builders/electricians.

Working Hours

• Full time - 37.5 hours per week, with overtime available
