Job summary

Octane Recruitment Limited in Cambridge is seeking an experienced Panel Beater, Panel Technician or Automotive Body Repair Technician to join a busy national accident repair centre. You should have previous panel beating experience and a full UK driving licence.

Salary is up to £24 per hour, full-time hours with overtime available. The role offers a modern workshop and ongoing training, with immediate start and opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Previous panel beating experience in a bodyshop or accident repair centre.
• Full UK Driving Licence is required.
• ATA or NVQ qualifications are preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle panel repairs, replacements and realignment.
• Repair dents, accident damage and structural components.
• Remove and refit damaged body panels.
• Use jig and welding equipment where required.
• Complete repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Identify additional damage during the repair process.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety and productivity.
