Job Title: MET/Panel Beater
Location: Leeds, UK
Salary: £20 per hour + bonus
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role: The ideal candidate will be responsible for carrying out mechanical, electrical, and trim (MET) repairs as well as panel beating to restore vehicles to their pre-accident condition. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality workmanship and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out MET and panel beating repairs on a variety of vehicles.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults.
• Strip and refit vehicle components to facilitate body repairs.
• Repair or replace damaged body panels, ensuring alignment and finish meet industry standards.
• Work to high-quality standards and within agreed timeframes.
• Use specialist tools and equipment efficiently and safely.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in MET and/or panel beating within a body shop or accident repair centre.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Body Repair, ATA Accreditation) are desirable.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanics, electrics, and bodywork repair techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Keen attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
