Job summary

Arnold Clark Group in St Helens is seeking a skilled Panel Beater to restore damaged vehicles to the highest possible standard. You will work as part of an efficient team, following manufacturer guidelines and applying your panel beating expertise to achieve top-quality results.

This full-time role offers a 44-hour week, with flexible hours, generous annual leave and clear opportunities for training and career progression within a large automotive group.

Qualifications

• Experience in accident damage repair to high standards.
• Strong panel beating skills with precision.
• Ability to apply multiple repair techniques correctly.

Responsibilities

• Follow written instructions to replace and repair panels.
• Weld new panels into place and correct damaged structures.
• Strip and rebuild accident-damaged vehicles.
• Safely use a range of hand and power tools.
• Maintain quality and comply with manufacturer guidelines.

Job description

We offer our Panel Beaters:

• Up to £50,000 OTE plus benefits
• Additional opportunity to earn up to £9,000 every three years in performance-based bonuses – terms and conditions apply.

Hours
Full time: Monday - Thursday8am - 5.30pm and Friday 8am - 4.30pm

About the role

Working as part of an efficient team, you'll take great pride in restoring damaged vehicles to their former glory while following manufacturer guidelines. This position will be ideal for someone with a passion for repairing accident-damaged vehicles to the highest possible standard.

Essential skills

• Full experience in accident damage repair
• A high level of skill in panel beating
• Ability to use a range of different techniques
• Ability to follow instructions effectively

Day-to-day duties

• Following written instructions
• Replacing and repairing damaged panels
• Welding new panels into place
• Stripping and rebuilding accident-damaged vehicles
• Safely and correctly using a range of hand and power tools
