Job summary

KPI People Ltd in Newbury is seeking an experienced Panel Technician to join a busy bodyshop. The role offers a basic salary up to £45,755 with OTE up to £50,000 and a strong benefits package.

You will work alongside senior staff to deliver high-quality repairs and uphold quality standards in a safe, collaborative environment. Over-time is frequently available, contributing to attractive earnings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a quality working environment or workshop.
• Proficient in MIG, spot welding and brazing.
• Experience with bracket jig repairs and chassis work.
• Experience with LCV and Luton size vehicles.

Panel Technician Responsibilities

• Work with the senior VDA and Workshop Controller to produce top quality repairs across a broad variety of vehicles.
• Maintain the high standards expected in a quality assured working environment.
• Work in a safe and consultative manner.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

• At least 5 years' experience in a quality working environment
• Fully experienced in MIG, Spot welding and Brazing.
• Experience of Bracket Jig Repairs and Chassis work.
• Experience of LCV and Luton size Vehicles.
• Communicative and Friendly
• Be comfortable with Large "Repair over Replace" operations.
