The PALS Receptionist is a first point of contact for the public and provides a friendly, welcoming, professional reception service to all visitors at Entrance 2, Manchester Royal Infirmary, Entrance 5, Wythenshawe Hospital and Entrance 3 at North Manchester for the PALS Department.
The post holder will be responsible for accepting all telephone calls into the department and working closely with the PALS and Complaints teams to provide a range of general clerical and administrative duties to support their smooth and efficient running. This will require a high degree of organisational skills and an excellent working knowledge of administrative systems.
We are looking for applicants with experience in a customer focused environment and with knowledge of an NHS environment.
Good verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with proficient keyboard and IT skills, as you will be using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook along with a bespoke database, Ulysses.
