Job summary

Royal Trinity Hospice is seeking a dynamic Therapy Assistant to join the Therapies Team in delivering compassionate palliative care across inpatient, outpatient and community settings.

The role requires teamwork, initiative and strong communication within an interdisciplinary team. The post offers 0.6 WTE hours, part-time contract, and opportunities for training and development within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience of delivering health and/or social care.
• Excellent communication with patients, families and professionals.
• Experience working in IPU, outpatient and community settings is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support Therapies Team in daily clinical and non-clinical activities in IPU, Outpatients and Community.
• Assist Therapists to maintain high standard of patient care through delegated programs and admin duties.
• Assist therapists with patients’ treatment, including community visits.
• Maintain a clean and tidy environment in clinical and non-clinical areas.
• Assist with purchase, maintenance and safe storage of equipment.
